BANKS POWER 42279-D RAM-AIR INTAKE SYSTEM WITH DRY FILTER

XDP has the Banks Power 42279-D Ram-Air Intake System With Dry Filter that offers a massive flow increase for your 2019-2023 Ram 6.7L Diesel. This intake is tested using Computational Fluid Dynamics software, the flowbench, and installed on the vehicle to verify performance. 

By removing the stock airbox's "S shaped" rubber snorkel in favor of a direct connection to the front scoop, the Banks Ram-Air optimizes the OEM front Ram-Air funnel's possibilities. This improves power and throttle responsiveness at high speeds by increasing air density and lowering restriction within the sealed box. Outside the engine bay, fresh air is constantly pushed into the airbox, keeping air density high and intake temperatures low.

The Banks Ram-Air keeps the air cool both inside and out of the truck. Its XLPE molded composition is more lightweight and durable than metal inlet tubes or heat shield designs, and it better resists external heat. Even when waiting for the next press of the throttle at a stoplight, the massive internal capacity keeps that reservoir of fresh air sheltered from the engine.
