PPE 114000740 PREMIUM HIGH-EFFICIENCY OIL FILTER

The PPE 114000740 Premium High-Efficiency Oil Filter is a superior oil filter for your GM 6.6L Duramax L5P. PPE engineered upgrades and features that far-surpass OEM filter performance. The stock filter only offers 259 square inches of 25-30 micron filtration capability and has no center core support which can lead to media collapse. The leaf spring inside the filter that is design to secure the oil seal loses tension and can lead to dirty oil blow-by. The factory filter bypass valve comes with no seal of any kind. 

Compared to the stock filter, the PPE has superior filtration down to 5 microns, 330 square inches of specially engineered media. A perforated metal center core offers media support and a coil spring eliminates any blow-by. This filter includes an integrated magnet to catch ferrous metals and a silicone anti-drain-back valve to prevent the passage of dirty oil. The bypass valve has a stiffer spring and a rubber seal. The thicker base plate has 49% larger passages for increased flow.
