PPE 114000750 PREMIUM HIGH-EFFICIENCY OVERSIZED OIL FILTER

The PPE 114000750 Premium High-Efficiency Oversized Oil Filter offers a greater surface area and better filtration for your 2020-2024 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P. This all new oversize PPE Filter has double the specially engineered filter media that equates to 522 square inches. The filter media supported by a perforated metal center core. Blow-by has been eliminated by the addition of a coil spring. This filter comes with a silicone anti-drain-back valve to prevent the passage of dirty oil and an integrated magnet to catch ferrous metals. The bypass valve has a rubber seal and a stiffer spring. The thicker base plate delivers 49% larger passages for higher flow. 

The stock AC Delco PF26 filter comes up short with only 259 square inches of 25-30 micron filtration capability. The OEM filter has no center core support which can lead to the filter media collapsing. The simple leaf spring design inside the filter is supposed to secure the oil seal eventually loses tension and can lead to dirty oil blow-by. The factory filter bypass valve comes with no seal of any kind.
